Datasources

Need to ingest data? Datasources provide that ability to ingest both CSV and Excel files, then use the ingested data in Value Driver Models or Python and R models.

Datasources are available through the “Lightning Bolt” icon.

The datasource manager allows you to manage the datasources within your Akumen tenancy.

Create a new datasource by clicking on the + button in the bottom right of the screen.

The name of the datasource is the name that you reference the datasource with, and table is the name of the underlying table to create. This table name must be unique in your tenancy, but it can also be the name of the datasource.

The table may already exist, in that case you can link to an existing table, or the table may not exist - you setup the name to provide the landing point for ingestion.

Once the datasource is created, it will show up in the list of available datasources. If the table doesn’t exist, the table will be displayed in red, otherwise it will be displayed in green.
